Bent-Prowers Cowboy Ball for Hospice March 27

Bent-Prowers Cattle & Horse Growers
Association will be holding its 135th Annual Meeting on March 27th in La
Junta at the Otero Junior College Student Center. In conjunction with the
evening banquet will be their Cowboy Ball to benefit the area Hospice
organizations. Registration for the meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. and
the meeting will kick off at 1:00 p.m. where discussion will center on
industry issues, association updates and legislative updates. Cattlemen
will hear from Gary Shoun, Colorado Brand Commissioner, a State Land Board
representative and Terry Fankhauser, Executive Director of Colorado
Cattlemen’s Association. The famous Cowboy Punch Bowl is scheduled to
begin at 5:30 p.m. and the banquet meal will be served at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets for the evening’s festivities are $20.00 per person and includes a
carved baron of beef dinner and dancing to the music of Country Gold.
