Prairie Queen 4-H Holds MeetingMarch 12, 2004 On February 15, 2004 the Prairie Queen 4-H club had their meeting. The members who attended: Milly and Tara Spady, Jessica and Alicia James, Cardon and Remington Brandt, Chevaun Glover, Carrie, Lakota and Jace Roberson, Andrea Williams, Lara Morlan, Shalyn Laird, and Jennifer and Jayce Negley. In old business we discussed the LDC (Leader Development Conference) was reported by Jessica, Milly, and Dawn James. Then Shalyn, Tara, Milly, Carrie, and Jace all talked about the Officer Training in La Junta. Trash Pickup was discussed and the date was set. There was a reminder to turn in enrollment forms. Adopt-A-Military was discussed; J.C. Cordova will be our person to send a care package to this month.

Brandi Roberson talked about 4-H scholarships and a web site that is available. The address is http://4hweb.ext.colostate.edu. We also talk about the Fun Festival. We decided on a theme which is, "Over the Rainbow". It will be March 5,2004 at the Community Building at 6:00 p.m. The host for this is Prairie Queen, and the club will furnish refreshments. Then we discussed up coming important dates. The meeting was adjourned and we had refreshments furnished by the Roberson Family. Next meeting is set for March 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.
