New Physician Working at Kiowa County Hospital DistrictMarch 12, 2004 The Kiowa County Hospital District would like to announce that their new Physician, Dr. Bilal Ahmad, has started to practice at the Kiowa County Hospital District facilities. Dr. Ahmad will joint Dr. John Hadley, Erin Hieb-Morgan (Eads) and Eldonna Mosier (Wiley), nurse practitioners, in providing health care for Kiowa and northern Prowers Counties. Dr. Ahmad's primary practice will be at the District's satellite clinic in Wiley. He will also cover the Hospital Emergency room in Eads and occasionally have half-day hours on Saturdays at the Eads Clinic. Dr. Ahmad comes to us from Kasmir, India. The last several years he successfully completed an internal medicine residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York. He also took a fellowship in Geriatric medicine at Wake Forest University.

Dr. Ahmad was recently married in Kasmir and is looking forward to his wife joining him in Eads sometime this summer. The Kiowa County Hospital District will be sponsoring an open house for the community to meet Dr. Ahmad on March 19, 2004 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
