I am collecting greeting card fronts to send to St. Jude’s Ranch to benefit abused children for my personal National Honor Society project. Please consider helping me out! Call 727-5461 if you have any questions.

Towner United Methodist Church hosted World Day of Prayer Friday morning. A group of twelve was in attendance and enjoyed breakfast and a nice service and prayer time.

Good news! Rick Huddleston was released from the hospital and is now home to stay!

Sunday, the Stum clan celebrated Kirbi’s 12th birthday at Monte, Linda, Kami, Kirbi, and Henni’s house. Chris was home from college and was able to attend as well as Linly, Sherell, Jay, Tara, Savannah, Cauy, Tammy, and Lane Stum and Felix Henke and Brian Ngai. They enjoyed dinner and cake and ice cream.

Ron and Ruth Buller recently returned from a two-week trip with Burl and Cathy Scherler to Australia and New Zealand. They had a very nice time.

Roland, Lisa, and Quinn Barnes of Littleton visited Floyd and Wynona Barnes this past weekend.

Brady Butler is home from college for his spring break.

 

Sunday, Lorene Uptergrove hosted Larry and Judy Tuttle, Tim and Kim Freeman, and Bernice and Gary Tuttle for dinner.

Mary Louise Huddleston and Bernice Tuttle attended the post-prom benefit dinner Saturday night.

Jen Poore traveled with Steve, Jo, and Will Lobmeyer to Bird City to visit Drew Flemming on Saturday. Sunday, she then traveled to Stratton for her nephew’s birthday.

Monte, Linda, and Kami Stum and Henni Wicke traveled to Colorado Springs Friday for a scholarship interview for Kami. They did some shopping, went out to eat, and returned home that evening.

Saturday, a large group traveled to Garden City, Kansas, to see the movie "The Passion of the Christ". The group also did some shopping and enjoyed a Mexican meal for lunch and Chinese for dinner! Those in attendance were Monte, Linda, and Kami Stum; Leo, Kathy, Vicki, and Becca Specht; Phil Splitter; Henni Wicke; Felix Henke; Brian Ngai; Jack and Miranda Weber; Michael Berggren; Randy Young and Blaine Shivers.
