Spiritual Crescendo at United Methodist Churches in
Towner and Tribune

The Towner and Tribune, Kansas
United Methodist Churches are hosting Spiritual Crescendo, Southwestern
College’s praise band, during worship services Sunday, February 29.
Spiritual Crescendo plays upbeat and
thoughtful music for worship services of any type or denomination. One of
Southwestern’s outreach teams, the group travels to area churches leading
worship and providing special music.
Christy Hopkins, daughter of Cheri
Hopkins of Towner, and Evan Pollock, grandson of Charles and Verna Harris
of Tribune, Kansas, and son of Dave and Jill Pollock of Hays, Kansas, are
members of the band. Other members include Amber Bratcher, Protection,
Kansas.; Kyle Garst, Salina, Kansas; Nicole Guthrie, Wichita, Kansas;
Li-Yen Ling, Malaysia; Zach Martin, Caney, Kansas; Angela Pooler, Bonner
Springs, Kansas; and Nick Gronseth, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

SC students will be available to
visit with high school and transfer students interested in learning more
about the college.
The Towner United Methodist Church
is located on east College Street in Towner. Services begin at 9:30 a.m.
The Tribune United Methodist Church is located at 102 E. Harper and
services begin at 11 a.m.
Southwestern College is a private
institution granting undergraduate and graduate degrees and is affiliated
with the United Methodist Church. Nearly 1,400 students attend classes at
the main Winfield, Kansas campus, at professional studies sites in
Winfield and Wichita, or online.
