Sheridan Lake Livewires 4-H Club Meets

The Sheridan Lake Livewires 4-H club
met at Plainview, on January 6, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The following members
attended the meeting: Cassie Harris, Lana Weber, Megan Linder, Shelby
Harris, Vincent Koeller, Katie Sanders, Lauren Weber, Tyler Harris,
Natalya Weber, Miranda Weber, Blaine Shivers, Kacy Segers, Lyaneah Segers,
Jami Lane, Reagan Lane, Wyatt Lane, Pete Rohlman and Gail Koeller.
The Treasurer’s report was given by
Shelby. Gail gave a report in regards to Cloverbuds. Cloverbuds
registration fee will be $1.00 and all other members will be $5.00 to be
turned in with your enrollment sheets.
Under Old Business was the CPR
Committee, Lana said the lady had not returned her call, the club tabled
this until our February meeting. Enrollment Papers & registration fee need
to be turned in as soon as possible. The following members have turned
them in: Katie, Megan, Tyler, Vincent, Ryan , Lauren, Natalya, Miranda,
Cassie and Shelby. Road Signs need to be done by Graduation in May.
New Business brought about new
committees for our Valentine Potluck and they are as follows: Food/Paper
Products: Vincent and Gail; Decorations: Wyatt, Tyler and Violet. As a
reminder for all club members please invite your Adopted Grandparents to
this Potluck as the IFYE candidate will be attending with a presentation
on her time in Greece and Denmark!

Our Council Representative for the
January meeting will be Cassie.
District Officer Training will be in
La Junta on February 8 at 2:00 p.m. The following members volunteered to
go: Lana, Megan, Shelby, Cassie, Lauren and Tyler. If you want to go let
Gail or Pete know before February 3rd.
The Kiowa County Fun Festival will
be March 5 at 6:00 p.m. at Eads. We decided to bring ideas to our February
meeting. Vincent gave a demonstration speech "The Proper Shooting Stance".
Lana gave a project talk "Global Citizenship – a neat project"
Jami volunteered to give a
demonstration speech, Reagan and Cassie volunteered to give a project talk
at our February 3rd meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
