January 14, 11:00 a.m. 12^th and Maine Streets, Eads. Responded to Valley State Bank in response t report of an unwanted person on the premises. James Albert Goodell, 60, of Del Rio, Texas, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with excessive alcohol content, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and vehicle without plates attached. Goodell was transported to Prowers County Jail and held on a $2,250 bond. (Submitted by Captain Ray)

January 16, 2:41 p.m., 15^th and Goff Streets, Eads. Byron Hampton Swindle, 67, of Meridian, Mississippi, was cited in to Eads Municipal Court for overtaking on the left when prohibited by markings. (Submitted by Captain Ray)

January 16, 5:10 p.m., 15^th and Maine Streets, Eads. Ruth Frias Escamilla, 37, of Fort Worth, Texas, was cited in to Eads Municipal Court for speeding 53 miles per hour in a posted 30 mph zone. (Submitted by Captain Ray)

January 17, 7:20 p.m. Responded to a report of a dumpster fire in the alley of the 1100 block of Hickman Street in Eads. The dumpster was extinguished by the Eads Fire Department. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
