January 3, 1:08 a.m. Matias L. Guzman, 30, of Denver, was arrested in Eads for driving under the influence of alcohol. Guzman is being held on a $1,000 bond. (Submitted by Deputy LeFlore)

January 11, 12:30 a.m., Maine and 15^th Streets, Eads. William Henry Kent, 50, of Kit Carson, was arrested driving a vehicle while on the influence of alcohol and careless driving. Kent was transported to Prowers County Jail in lieu of a $1,000 bond. (Submitted by Deputy Sanger)
