Weisbrod Auxiliary MeetsJanuary 9, 2004 The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Our Place Restaurant. The following were present: Barb Diet, President, Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer, Annie Cole, Vice President, Alice Weil, Dora Pearcey, Margaret Frazee, and guests Tonya Lane and Lois McCracken. Meeting was called to order by Barb. November minutes were read and approved. In the treasurer's report we have $245.30 in the checking account and $2,676.84 in the savings account. Under Old Business: The annual hospital bazaar was filled up with a variety of tables. As a whole we felt like there were a different variety of things offered this year, but there was a lack of customers. We made $712.00 on the tables, $253.00 on the donation tickets, $53.00 on popcorn balls, and $60.00 donation from WIFE. We paid out $45.00 for renting the community building, and $159.84 on advertising.

Under New Business: Alice made a motion and 2nd by Dora to purchase 24 squirt bottles for the residents. Motion carried. We received memorial money on behalf of Roy Robertson. Our next meeting will be January 12, 2004 at Weisbrod Hospital at 6:30 to play bingo with the residents. All members are asked to bring prizes for each game and also bring refreshments. This will be in place of our monthly meeting. We will have election of officers at our February l7th meeting for the 2004 year. Margaret made and motion and was 2nd by Dora to adjourn the meeting.
