As I write this, snow is falling outside! I love winter and cannot believe that Christmas is just around the corner. I hope everyone is preparing for a happy holiday!

The Plainview Senior Class is staying busy this month. We will be selling the famous Prairie Candles for a few days. There are some new scents this year, including Buttermint, Peppermint, and Chocolate Truffle. We are selling all three sizes and recommend these great candles as easy Christmas presents. We are also selling Plainview Hawk t-shirts, sweatshirts, and polo shirts. Contact a senior or Ms. Greenfield or Mr. Pape or come to a home basketball game for more information.

I would like to recognize Dick and Sharon Scott's holiday spirit! It would be worth a drive to their home to see their lights and other Christmas decorations.

Susan Greenfield enjoyed lunch with Dale and Lesa Nolan Friday. Saturday, she made the trek to Springfield to watch the Lady Hawks play the Pritchett Pirates at the Springfield tournament.

Several other families spent Friday and Saturday in Springfield supporting the Ladies.

Mary Louise Huddleston and Jerene DeBono spent Sunday and Monday in Denver with Rick Huddleston. The report is that he continues to slowly improve.
