Eads Places 5, Kraft ChampionDecember 12, 2003 The Eads Wrestlers traveled to Akron Dec. 6th starting their season placing 5th as a team and also placing 5 wrestlers in the top 4. Senior Shawn Kraft was the lone champion from Eads, wrestling at 171 lbs. Cody Cordova, also a senior, placed 3rd at 152. Junior Kelly Lindholm placed 2nd at 160 while the other Junior on the team, Josh Fry, placed 4th at 119. Freshman Tyler McCracken had a very successful start to his high school wrestling career coming home with a 4th place medal at 112. Cordova: pinned Lousberg, Wiggins; pinned by True, Highlands Ranch; pinned Griffeth, Eaton; decisioned Freidly, Akron, 10-1. Kraft: pinned Berens, Stratton; TF over Dilka, W; decisioned Marick, Brush, 21-9.
