Shalberg Pumping Places First in Tournament

Shelberg Pumping bowling team from Sheridan Lake recently participated in the Colorado Women’s Bowling Association Senior Bowling Tournament at Colorado Springs. This event is held each year in the fall for ladies 55 and over. This year there was a total of 73 teams entered in all divisions.

Shalberg Pumping had the most total pins in all divisions and won first place in their division.. Lenora Springer and Carol Shalberg also won third in their division, and came in 4^th overall in doubles out of 149 teams. Theresa Weber and Lenora Springer won on-the-spot awards for high games. Members of the team are Lenora Springer from Lamar, Barbara Wilson, Theresa Weber and Carol Shalberg from Sheridan Lake.
