East End EventsNovember 7, 2003 Game night will be November 15 at the Towner Hall at 7:00 PM. Ron and Ruth Buller recently returned from Michigan where they visited their daughter Glenda and her husband Kenny. On their way through Kansas City, they picked up their granddaughter Krista for the weekend. Ron and Ruth had a nice time with Glenda, Kenny, Krista, Russell, Joel, and Suzy. This weekend Cheri Hopkins went to Denver to visit her dad Bob Schlabaugh. Then they both went to Greeley to see Cheri’s brother and his wife, Larry and Patty Schlabaugh. Monte and Linda Stum, Kami and Kirbi, as well as Henni Wicke, Brian Ngai, and Felix Henke, traveled to Russell, Kansas, Friday to see Linda’s sister and her family. They stayed the night with Joane and Cecil Fabian, Blake, Shantell, and Terry. Friday night the kids all went trick-or-treating. Saturday the Stum clan plus Linda’s dad John Andrews drove to Baldwin City, Kansas, to see Linda’s nephew Landon Brittain play football for Baker University. They returned to Russell Saturday night and returned home Sunday. "Children must be taught how to think, not what to think,"-Margaret Mead.
