Lady Bowlers to Make Strikes Against Type 1 Diabetes

The Sheridan Lake Monday Night
Ladies League bowlers are bowling November 17, to raise funds for the
Children’s Diabetes Foundation at Denver and the Barbara Davis Center for
Childhood Diabetes.
The Children’s Diabetes Foundation
was founded in l977 as a non-profit organization to support research in
childhood diabetes and to provide the best possible clinical and
educational programs for children with the disease. Its mission is to
raise funds to support programs at the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood
Diabetes where over 4,000 children and young adults currently receive
care.

The ladies will accept donations or
sponsorships based on their bowling averages or scores. If you wish to
donate and have not been contacted by the bowlers, please contact one of

200,000 Americans die from diabetes or its complications, or over 92,000
lower limb amputations are performed, or diabetes causes 24,000 new cases
of blindness? Nearly 2 million Americans have type 1 diabetes.
