East End Events

I am very sorry to hear of Rick Huddleston's accident this past week. Rick is Mary Louise Huddleston's son and lives in Burlington. He is in a medically induced coma in Denver after being run over by a steer. He is badly injured but his prognosis is good; he will just need a lot of time to heal. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and all his family. All of Rick's family was in Denver this weekend to be with him.

Kim Freeman of Trinidad visited Larry and Judy Tuttle, Clovis and Lorene Uptergrove, and Bernice Tuttle last Wednesday and Thursday.

Chris Stum and Sean Harkness were home from Ft. Lewis University and Adam's State University, respectively, for deer season. Both enjoyed seeing their families.

Sunday, Lane and Tammy Stum and Misty and Chris hosted the rest of the Stum clan for lunch. Linly, Sherell, Jay, Tara, Savannah, Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi, as well as Brian Ngai, Felix Henke, and Henni Wicke all enjoyed hamburgers and hotdogs.

Sunday morning, members of the Towner United Methodist Church gathered before church services for breakfast and the annual meeting with District Superintendent Kuder. The breakfast was delicious and everyone enjoyed the special service.

Game night will be November 15 at 7 p.m. at the Towner Hall for all interested adults!
