The Sheridan Lake Livewires 4-H club
celebrated National 4-H Week by recording radio spots at the KVAY radio
station on October 3, 2003. Bob Delancy, the man recording us showed us
what you could do with digital editing. Some of the things he did were
speed up your voice, without sounding too much like a chipmunk, slow it
down change the pitch, change the loudness or cut portions of it out of
the recording. The members who participated in this were: Miranda Weber,
Lana Weber, Megan Linder, Lauren Weber, Vincent Koeller, Kirbi Stum, Tyler
Harris and Natalya Weber
Another thing we did was to record
over the phone to the KLMR radio station on October 6, 2003. The members
who participated were: Cassie Harris, Lana Weber, Miranda Weber, Lauren
Weber, Megan Linder, Kirbi Stum, Shelby Harris and Vincent Koeller.
The club had a table set up at
Plainview school with a board and pamphlets about 4-H. Katie Sanders put
her Historian book on this table for display.

projects to show and they told about them. Megan Linder coordinated the
order of members who participated and they were: Tyler Harris, Shelby
Harris, Kirbi Stum, Vincent Koeller, Lauren Weber, Natalya Weber, Jami

Fickenscher closed with an over all review of 4-H and answered several
questions.
All in all, I think everyone had a
fun week. Our next Club meeting will be Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at
