September 26, 6:20 p.m. Highway 287 at mile marker 119, Juan Trejo-Dominguez, 25, of Denver was issued a citation in to Kiowa County Court for speeding 89 miles per hour in a posted 65 mph zone. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
September 26, 9:35 p.m., Lois Arlene Howard, 42, of Cheyenne Wells was arrested and transported to Prowers County Jail on charges of driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving a motor vehicle with excessive alcohol content, and failure to drive in a single lane.
