I hope everyone has had a good week!

Lane and Tammy Stum enjoyed seeing their children, Misty and Christopher and Sean Harkness this weekend. They all met at Denver and attended Promise Keepers on Saturday.

Susan Greenfield is enjoying company this week. Her sister and brother-in-law, John and Sam Knight are here visiting for a couple days. They arrived Monday night and will return home to Denver Wednesday.

Dick and Sharon Scott enjoyed visiting with the Massey family in Chickasha, Oklahoma, last Thursday through Sunday.

Delores Specht was honored with a birthday celebration dinner in Granada last Thursday. Bernice Tuttle, Hazel Woelk, Mary Louise Huddleston, Barb Gitchel, Cathy Scherler and June Beaman all accompanied her to Chez W. DuVall. Happy Birthday, Delores!

 

Leo and Kathy Specht made a quick trip to Wichita, Kansas, this weekend. They took Danny Specht to meet his brother Jimmy in order to return to his home in Oklahoma. They were also able to visit with David and Gail Specht.

Linly and Sherell Stum; Felix Henke; Brian Ngai; Monte, Linda and Kirbi Stum; and Susan Specht all attended the high school volleyball tournament at Stanton County High School in Johnson, Kansas, Saturday. The Plainview Hawk team was defeated by Deerfield, Kansas, and Stanton County, Kansas, but won the game against Syracuse, Kansas.

Peg, Lauren, and Natalya Weber and friend Kathy attended a Bruce Springsteen concert last Thursday evening. They were some of 30,000 people in attendance and had a great time.
