Weisbrod Auxiliary Meets

The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at Weisbrod Memorial Hospital.

The following were present: Barb Diel, President, Kim Richards,

Secretary/Treasurer, Sis Howard, Dora Pearcey, Betty Frazee, Jo Forrester, and guests Rhonda Krueger, Tonya Lane, Margaret Mays, Della, Pam Batterton and Mr. Murphy, Hospital Administrator.

Meeting was called to order by Barb. August minutes were read and improved. The Treasurer’s report was given as follows: $27.04 in checking account and $1,664.17 in savings account.

Under Old Business; Dora made a motion and seconded by Betty to purchase Halloween Bags for the resident for their treats for $13.50. Motion carried. Rhonda is having trouble finding the table cloths. She is still searching. The Hospital Bazaar is planned for November 22, 2003. Linda Trosper and Suzanne Williams are the contact people.

Mr. Murphy thanked the auxiliary for all their work on improving the hospital and nursing home. He said the nursing home and the old part of the hospital are replacing the utilities and the north end of the hospital will be at a later date.

Della, as Arkansas Silver Queen candidate gets to "make-a-wish" for participating. Della chose to go to the Denver Zoo.

Betty made a motion and seconded by Dora to adjourn meeting. Next meeting will be October 21, at noon at Our Place Restaurant.
