2004 Fair Royalty Crowned

On Saturday, September 13, the 2004 Kiowa County Fair and Rodeo Royalty were crowned in a brief ceremony during the rodeo performance. The 2004 court will be led by Queen Holli Watson. Holli is the daughter of Marvin and Kathy Watson and is a junior at Eads High. She receives a belt buckle sponsored by Rod and Pam Cole. 2003 Queen Lesa Cole presented Holli with her sash and bouquet.

Outgoing Princess Chelsea Batterton and Tiny Tot Princess Alicia James awarded new Princess Addie Seifried and Tiny Tot Tanaia Hansen their sashes and bouquets. Addie is the daughter of Renay Seifried and is in the 5th grade at Eads. Tanaia's parents are Craig and Darla Hansen of Eads, where Tanaia is in the 1st grade. Each princess also receives a plaque sponsored by the Fair Board.

These young ladies were chosen in a very competitive contest with a total of 8 participants, and officially begin their reign on October 1. Kiowa County will be well represented at area fairs and rodeos next summer by this court. Royalty bouquets and flowers given to all contestants were donated by Teresa's Maine Street Boutique.
