The Southeast Colorado Enterprise
Development, Inc. (SECED) in cooperation with the Colorado Department of
Transportation is in the process of developing a 2030 Long Range
Transportation Plan for the Southeast Transportation Planning Region (TPR),
which includes the counties of Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero and
Prowers. This 2030 Plan will be Region's the next generation of proposed
multi-modal transportation improvements to the transportation system.
The Southeast TPR 2030 Long Range
Transportation Plan, along with the plans from each of the other 14 TPRs,
will become the basis for the Statewide 2030 Transportation Plan that will
be adopted by the Colorado Transportation Commission.
In addition to the monthly SECED
Board meetings, which the public is always invited to attend to comment on
any aspect of the planning process, at critical points within the planning
process, the SECED Board will conduct a public workshop with local elected
officials, transportation interest groups, and residents that have
expressed an interest in transportation in order to get their input.
