2030 Statewide Transportation PlanSeptember 19, 2003 The Southeast Colorado Enterprise Development, Inc. (SECED) in cooperation with the Colorado Department of Transportation is in the process of developing a 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan for the Southeast Transportation Planning Region (TPR), which includes the counties of Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero and Prowers. This 2030 Plan will be Region's the next generation of proposed multi-modal transportation improvements to the transportation system. The Southeast TPR 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan, along with the plans from each of the other 14 TPRs, will become the basis for the Statewide 2030 Transportation Plan that will be adopted by the Colorado Transportation Commission. In addition to the monthly SECED Board meetings, which the public is always invited to attend to comment on any aspect of the planning process, at critical points within the planning process, the SECED Board will conduct a public workshop with local elected officials, transportation interest groups, and residents that have expressed an interest in transportation in order to get their input.

You are invited to attend the SECED Board's first public planning workshop on September 23, 2003, starting at 5:30 p.m. at Bent's Fort Inn. At this workshop, the Board will be receiving comments from the public concerning the Draft Vision, and Goals and Strategies.
