Weisbrod Auxiliary Meets

The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Our Place Restaurant.

The following were present; Barb Diel, President, Annie Cole, Vice President, Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer, Alice Well, Lola Igou, Joyce Berry, Jo Forester, Dora Pearcey, Sis Howard, and guests Tonya Lane, Shannon Dixon, Anna Randall, Angelia Howard, and Marie Cole.

Meeting was called to order by Barb. July minutes were read and approved. The Treasurers report was given as follows; $86.56 in the checking account and $1,664.17 in the savings account.

Under Old Business: The computer table for the residents has been purchased for $59.22; Lola is checking into the shade; Rhonda Krueger was absent so we do not know the status on the table cloths.

Lola made a motion and was seconded by Annie to purchase a corsage for Della, the Arkansas Silver Queen candidate. Motion carried.

Dora made a motion and was seconded by Joyce to pay for the swimming party for the residents and their families. Motion carried.

Tonya has asked if anybody had sun bonnets or straw hats for the residents to wear on Saturday, September 13, during the parade. They would like to borrow them and she will return them and also Tonya would like some ideas on making Halloween bags for the kids on Halloween.

The Hospital Bazaar is set for November 22, 2003. Letters will be sent out. Contact Linda Trosper or Susanne Williams for more information.

Dora made a motion and was seconded by Annie to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
