I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor
Day!
Susan Greenfield, Ruth Fees, Cora
Coffman, and Cheri Hopkins went to Lamar Monday evening for dinner to
celebrate Ruth's birthday. They had a nice time.
Sunday, Ron and Ruth Buller, their
guests Ryan and Monica Greb, and Mark and Diane Sanders and Katie,
Matthew, and Levi attended the Colorado State Fair. Others from the area
there that day include Bob Weber, Miranda, Lana, Lauren, and Natalya;
Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi Stum; Henriette Wicke; Gail, Marvin,
Vincent, and Ryan Koeller; and Pete Rholman. The group was there to either
participate in or watch the State Fun Festival which many Sheridan Lake
Livewires 4-H members were participating in.
Sunday, Mary Ann and Jim Richardson,
Wanita Barr, and Carl and Freda Schmidt had lunch in Eads before going to
Bob and Margaret Troutman's 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration.
Ryan and Monica Greb visited Ron and
Ruth Buller Friday through Monday morning.
Cheri Hopkins and Susan Greenfield
enjoyed the Granada Bobcats versus the Genoa-Hugo Pirates Friday night.
Unfortunately, the Bobcats lost 8-22.
Kami Stum, Vicki Specht, and
Henriette Wicke traveled to Lamar for some shopping and pizza before
heading to the football game Friday night in Granada.
Cheri and Evan Hopkins and Jen Poore
hosted a group for a Mexican dinner Saturday night. Those present were
Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi Stum; Henriette Wicke; Susan Greenfield;

Tuesday.
On Thursday the 28th, Carl and Freda
Schmidt traveled to Pueblo for the funeral of Grace Rhodes Yoder. Grace
and Vernon Rhodes were Freda's "adopted" family through her church while
Freda attended Nursing School from 1953-1956.
Friday, Bernice Tuttle and Judy
Tuttle traveled to Garden City, Kansas, for appointments.
Sunday, Leroy and Patty Patee, Terry
and Dena Patee and Ty and Trace of Ellis, Kansas, had lunch with Larry and
Judy Tuttle, Bernice Tuttle, and Eric, Linsey, Tre, and Austin Jensen in
Lamar. Then the Patee's returned to Towner for supper with Bernice before
they headed home.
Have a great week!
