Korrell Completes Basic Training

Navy Seaman Caleb G. Korrell, son of Charlene and Michael Korrell of Cheyenne Wells, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois.

During the 8-week program, Korrell completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, fire fighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was also placed on physical fitness.

Korrell is a 2002 graduate of Cheyenne Wells High School.
