East End Events

My condolences to Cora Coffman and her family. Cora's husband Jay passed away Saturday. Our thoughts are with you, Cora.

Floyd and Wynona Barnes traveled to the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo Wednesday. They enjoyed the rodeo and various other sights and exhibits.

Wynona Barnes enjoyed a visit with her sister Marilyn Goode in Greeley on Thursday.

Dale and Gayla Butler took Brady down to Clarendon, Texas, Sunday. Brady will be attending college there.

Christy Hopkins also returned to college this past week. She left Wednesday for Southwestern College.

Mary Louise Huddleston, Verna Hallock, Bernice Tuttle, Susan Miller, Donna Campbell, and Mildred Crockett spent four days last week at Susie's cabin in Cuchara.

Bernice Tuttle, and Linsey, Tre, and Austin Jensen helped Gary Tuttle celebrate his birthday Sunday by going out to eat. After dinner, they returned to Linsey's home for homemade ice cream and cake where Larry and Judy Tuttle, Kim Freeman, and Eric Jensen joined them.

Linly and Sherell Stum traveled to Abilene, Kansas, this weekend for a funeral. On the way home, they stopped in Great Bend, Kansas, for the NHRA Races. They enjoyed the races and returned home Saturday night.

 

Sunday, Linly and Sherell Stum, Ngai Chi-Fung, Felix Henke, Chris Stum, and Tara and Savannah Stum traveled to Garden City to watch Jay Stum compete in the semifinals rodeo there.

Tammy, Lane, and Chris Stum took Misty Stum to college last week. Misty is attending Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs.

Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi Stum, and Henriette Wicke went to St. John, Kansas, to visit John and Opal Andrews. They left Saturday and returned home Sunday evening. They had a good time visiting and catching up.

Friday, Susan Greenfield enjoyed a trip to Lamar with Sharon Arns and Heather, Wesley, and Kristin.

Saturday, Cheri and Evan Hopkins, Jen Poore, Bruce and Brenda Fickenscher, and Tom Pape enjoyed dinner at the Barrel Springs Hunt Club in Horace, Kansas.

Kim and Tim Freeman of Trinidad were visiting family in Towner this past Saturday and Sunday.
