KCEDF Acquires Jackson PropertyAugust 29, 2003 Janet Frederick, Executive Director of the Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation (KCEDF) has announced that the Foundation has purchased nearly 800 acres of land south of Eads, commonly known as the Jackson property, for future development. Following nearly a year of negotiations, the Foundation closed the land purchase on August 27th. While the Kiowa County Commissioners were in full support of the development of the property, they and the Foundation Board felt that KCEDF would be the best organization to both purchase the property and handle its development.
