Biernat Family to Leave End of AugustAugust 22, 2003 Dr. Bozena Biernat and her family will be leaving the community the end of August to work in a small clinic in Wisconsin. The Weisbrod Memorial Hospital board, employees, patients, community and friends held a "pot luck" dinner on Friday evening August 15 to thank her for her contribution to the community and to wish her well in the future. Dr. Biernat came to work at Weisbrod Memorial in 1997. She has been attending the Wiley Medical Clinic as well as on-call in the emergency room and back-up at the Eads Medical Clinic.

Dr. Biernat stated, "I am very sad to be leaving. It was not an easy decision, but my family comes first and move will be good for all of them. I will greatly miss my staff that I have become close friends with, and all my patients." Marciano David Bautista, DO, a graduate from Ohio University, will be filling in at the hospital and clinics for several months until our new physician Dr. Ahmad arrives.
