No USDA Update This Week

USDA computers nation-wide were struck by the newly-discovered MSBlast computer worm Wednesday morning, effectively rendering those computers unusable by USDA employees. The USDA office in Eads was among the many offices affected by this worm, so Rod Johnson was unable to submit his regular weekly USDA Update column for this week.

According to Johnson, who spoke to Kiowa County Press staff late Wednesday, this week’s column would not have contained critical information, and will be revised to be included with next week’s column.
