Allard to Hold Kiowa County Town Meeting on August 25th
August 15, 2003
U.S. Sen. Wayne Allard (R-CO) will
hold a Kiowa County town meeting in Eads on Monday, August 25, from 3:00
p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kiowa County Courthouse in the Community Room,
which is located at 1305 Goff Street.
"I want to extend an invitation to
everyone in Eads, Sheridan Lake and Kiowa County to attend a very informal
community meeting," Allard said. "This is a chance for citizens to visit
one on one with me about issues important to them."
Allard is a member of the Senate
Armed Services Committee where he is Chairman of the Strategic Forces
Subcommittee; the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee
where he is Chairman of the Housing and Transportation Subcommittee; the
Senate Budget Committee; and the Senate Environment and Public Works
Committee. The Kiowa County town meeting is part of Allard’s pledge to
hold at least one town meeting in each of Colorado’s sixty-four counties
annually.

town meeting can contact Doris Morgan in Senator Allard’s Pueblo Office at
