4-H Exhibit Day Champions

Kiowa County 4-H members are "Going
Places"! That was the theme for the 2003 Exhibit Day hosted by the
Sheridan Lake Livewires. Members exhibited 100 projects completed during
this year of 4-H. Many will be shown at state fair the next few weeks, and
all will be at the Kiowa County Fair in September.
Champions and Reserve Champions were
named as follows: Animal Science/Natural Resources, Vincent Koeller,
Cassie Harris; Shooting Sports, Milly Spady, Tara Spady; Plant Science,
Billy Brandt, Chevaun Glover; Engineering, Vincent Koeller, Cassie Harris;
Miscellaneous, Jennifer Negley, Shalyn Laird; Ceramics/Heritage Arts,

4-H members and leaders who helped
with the judging were: Alice Glover, Chevaun Glover, Susan Greenfield,
Edith Koeller, Vincent Koeller, Areta Laird, Shalyn Laird, Bonnie
Lessenden, and Andrea Williams. All Sheridan Lake Livewire members,
leaders, and parents helped with arrangements for the days events. Thanks
