Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary Meets
August 8, 2003
The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, July 15 at Our Place Restaurant.
The following were present: Barb Diel, President; Annie Cole, Vice President; Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer; Lola Igou, Margaret Frazee, Sandy Kelley, Alice Weil, Jo Forrester, Sis Howard, Dora Pearcey and guests, Pam Batterton, Social Service Director; Rhonda Krueger, Activities Director; Margaret Mays, Della Price and Lois McCracken.
The meeting was called to order by Barb. June minutes were read and approved. The Treasurer’s report was given as $31.56 in checking and $1,664.17 in savings.
Rhonda replaced "Walk & Roll" with "Go out for a ride" during the hot months. She said there will be a Walk & Roll on Friday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. and would like volunteers for this day. Rhonda also has planned a party at the swimming pool for the residents in August. Della May Price will be our Arkansas Silver Queen candidate during the Arkansas Valley Fair on August 20.
Margaret made a motion to buy a computer stand for the residents, seconded by Dora. Motion carried. Pam and Rhonda will purchase one.
Sandi made a motion and seconded by Dora to purchase table cloths for the residents. Motion carried. Rhonda will see this gets done.
Dora made a motion, seconded by Sandi to look for new shade. Motion carried. Lola will look for one.
Memorial money was received on behalf of Robert Weil and Kathy Lohman.
Lola made a motion, seconded by Margaret to adjourn the meeting. Next meeting will be August 19 at noon at Our Place Restaurant.
