The following items will need to be sent with your student on the first day of school: A notebook and 3.5" floppy disk for each class; adequate number of pencils and pens; 1 large box of facial tissue. The following items will need to be sent with your student on the first day of school: Kindergarten - 8 oz. size (or larger) white school glue; 4 LARGE glue sticks or 6 SMALL glue sticks; Regular size crayons – 12 count No Fluorescent; Box of 8 markers; 2 LARGE boxes of facial tissue – 200 count; 4 - #2 pencils with erasers; Good pair of metal bladed scissors; PLASTIC cigar type school box; Bath or beach towel – something easy for them to handle; Please label all these items with your child’s name. First Grade - School box (large enough for school supplies); Unopened package of 10 pencils (#2 lead); 4 LARGE glue sticks; 16 or 24 count box of crayons; 2 or 3 pink pearl erasers; 1 large box of facial tissues; 1 spiral notebook; Good pair of metal bladed scissors; 2 pocket folders; 1 roll 35 mm film; 1 box colored pencils; Please label all these items with your child’s name. Middle School - 2 boxes of facial tissues; 1 pkg. 3x5 note cards with lines; #2 lead pencils; 2 or 3 blue or black erasable pens; Notebook for each class (Separate notebook for writing); 1 large pkg. loose leaf paper with 3 holes (wide or college ruled); 1 five subject notebook for writing; 1 set colored pencils; Compass; Protractor; Ruler with standard and metric measurements (preferably wood); 1 red pen for checking; Several pocket folders for handouts; 1 highlighter (any bright color); 1 Willing Student, Eager to Learn. All students attending Eads Elementary should have a pair of tennis, running, or rubber-soled flat shoes for their Physical Education class. During inclement weather, these shoes should be carried to school and worn only during P.E. class. Students may wear shorts under a pair of long pants, then remove the long pants during their P.E. class. Girls MUST wear shorts under their dresses.
