Obituary - Beatrice Moyer 86

Beatrice Moyer was born February 15, 1917 at Kaw, Oklahoma to Valoris C. and Maggie (Davis) Miller. She passed away July 28, 2003 at the Southeast Colorado Hospital in Springfield, where she made her home.

Services are scheduled for Friday, August 1 at 2 p.m. at the Eads United Methodist Church with Pastors Galan Burnett of the Faith Friends Church of Lamar and Chivington and Bill Ownbey of the Abundant Life Church of Hutchinson, Kansas officiating. Interment will be in the Eads Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Peacock Funeral Home.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. "Doc" Moyer, parents Valoris C. and Maggie (Davis) Miller, step-father William Miller, brothers Kenneth and Clayton Miller, granddaughter Landa Eikner and great grandson William Owenbey. Bea is survived by her children Valoris Sellard of Lakewood, Charlotte (Gene) Lynn of Springfield, Duane (Carol) Ritchie of Ft. Collins, Richard (Donna) Ritchie of Shaumburg, Illinois, Jerry Ritchie of Lamar, Arnitha (Larry) Frazee of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Bonita (Jim) Sieh of Gillette, Wyoming, Sandra (Marvin) Maltbie of Lamar, Mary Bea (Galan) Burnett of Lamar, 27 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brothers John (Ruth) of Canon City, Vernon Ray (Gloria) of Spring Valley, California, Marvin Miller of Coos Bay, Oregon, sisters Wilma Ritchie of Canon City, Ruby (Bud) Winters of Abilene, Kansas and sister-in-law Ruby Miller of Pueblo.
