Congratulations to Matt Miller on making the Deans Honor Roll at the Colorado State University School of Business.

Misty, Chris, and Kami Stum will be sharing their experiences in Peru from their recent mission’s trip by hosting a potluck and presentation Saturday, July 26, at 7 p.m. at the Sheridan Lake Bible Church. Honored guests are those who gave of their time, money, and remembered Misty, Chris, and Kami in their prayers to help make their trip a success. Everyone is invited to bring some food to share and enjoy hearing of God’s work in Peru.

The Sheridan Lake Livewires 4-H Club members will be giving project talks and demonstrations at their annual club tour on Tuesday, July 29. They will start at 3 p.m. at Marvin Koeller’s home and then proceeding, in order, to the following: Tim Harris family, Rick Harris family, Bob Weber family, Mark Sanders family, and Monte Stum family. The club will then convene at the Tribune city park for a barbeque and potluck followed by swimming at the Tribune city pool. Adopted grandparents and general public are welcome to attend

The 4-H Exhibit Day will be hosted by the Sheridan Lake Livewires 4-H Club at Plainview School on Monday, August 4. Judging begins at 10 a.m. For lunch, the Livewires members will serve lasagna, garlic bread, relish plate, brownies, and tea or water for just $5.50 for adults and $4.00 for children 10 and under. That evening, they will add a tossed salad and choice of brownies or cake for $6.00 (adults) and $5.00 (children). Then, at 3:30, the Fashion Revue judging will take place followed by the public Fashion Revue, Awards Program, and Food Auction at 7 p.m. Adopted grandparents are invited, as well as the general public.

Rhonda and Emily Koehn were here over the weekend visiting Larry and Judy Tuttle. Sunday, Clovis and Lorene Uptergrove and Bernice Tuttle joined Rhonda, Emily, Larry, and Judy for lunch and supper.

 

Saturday night, Dick and Sharon Scott enjoyed a barbeque at Tom Scott’s home in Tribune, Kansas.

Dick and Sharon Scott had guests Saturday morning; Shirley Anderson and her daughter Melanie Whittle and family, all of Denton, Texas, stopped by.

Cheri Hopkins traveled to Denver last Tuesday through Thursday to see her father and his wife: Bob and Lu Schlabaugh. On Wednesday she traveled to Greeley to visit her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Patty Schlabaugh.

Dennis Brittain and Jordyn Heim were overnight guests with Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi Stum Friday night. They are from Medicine Lodge and Pratt, Kansas, respectively. They stopped by on their way to Colorado Springs for vacation.

The Monte Stum family traveled to Colorado Springs Monday to pick Carina Fischer up from the airport. From there, they went out for dinner at Joe’s Crab Shack with Dennis Brittain, Jordyn Heim and other friends. Carina was an exchange student with the Stum’s during the school year 2001-2002. She will be back in Colorado for about three weeks.
