KCPLD Summer Reading Sign-UpJune 27, 2003 Sign-up for Kiowa County Public Library District’s summer reading program, Camp Read-A- Lot, will be July 1 – 11. Programs begin on Tuesday, July 15. We will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3 weeks. The final program will be a Reader’s Theater presentation on Thursday, July 31. Ages 3 and 4 come to Storytime at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ages 5, 6, and 7 come at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and ages 8 and up also come at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Special programs will include; wilderness survival, camp cooking, outdoor photography, and a special presentation of silent films by the Kiowa County Historical Society and Museum. There are lots of new, exciting books to read and lots of fun and special prizes so plan to sign-up soon.
