Kiowa County Sheriff’s Report

[Editor’s note: The Kiowa County Sheriff’s Report will be appearing regularly in the Press, and replaces the Eads Police Report. Minor incidents, such as "dog at large," are not included in the report.]
June 2, 10:00 a.m. After filing an affidavit into Kiowa County Court, an arrest warrant was issued for Jeffrey P. Patterson, 38, of Towner, for two counts of fraud by check. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
June 14, 12:20 a.m. 14th and Maine Streets, Eads. Upon further investigation involving a traffic stop, Carl Birt, 19, and Jeremy Brown, 18, both of Eads, were issued summons for minor in possession of ethyl alcohol. Theresa Gibson, 20, of Eads, was issued a summons for littering. One juvenile, also of Eads, was issued a summons for littering and minor in possession of ethyl alcohol. All were issued a summons in to Kiowa County Court. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
The Sheriff’s Office would like to ask the community for assistance with the alcohol containers being discarded throughout the towns and county. If you have any information this type of littering, please contact the Sheriff’s Office, as the office will be issuing littering tickets for these violations.
