Obituary - Jane Lawrence Pyles Eberhardt, 81

Jane Lawrence Pyles was born February 15, 1922, in Eads to Frank Lawrence and Bertha Lee (Whitelaw) Pyles. She departed this life June 7, 2003, at Mercer Island, Washington, following a bout with lung cancer.

Jane attended schools in Eads, and graduated from Eads High School. She continued her education at the University of Colorado, graduating in 1944 with a degree in business.

Jane was united in marriage to Frank Christopher Eberhardt in 1948 at the home of Jane’s parents in Eads. Chris was a construction engineer, and together to couple traveled world while Chris worked on a variety of projects in such places as Morocco and Japan. The couple made their home in Mercer Island, for the past 35 years.

Jane Lawrence Pyles Eberhardt was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Chris, of the family home; one niece, Jane Rottwood; and two nephews, David Lewis and Bruce Lewis.

An inurnment service will be held at the Eberhardt family lot in Salina, Kansas. Memorial services may be scheduled at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Business Department of the University of Colorado at Boulder.
