Kiowa County Sheriff’s Report

[Editor’s note: The Kiowa County Sheriff’s Report will be appearing regularly in the Press, and replaces the Eads Police Report. Minor incidents, such as "dog at large," are not included in the report.]
June 2, 10:00 a.m. After filing an affidavit into Kiowa County Court, an arrest warrant was issued for Jeffrey P. Patterson, 38, of Towner, for two counts of fraud by check. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
June 7, 12:20 a.m. A citation was issued to Jeremy A. Brown, 18, of Eads for littering from a motor vehicle. Brown is to appear in Kiowa County Court. (Submitted by Captain Ray)
June 9, 4:43 p.m. Called to 303 W. 9th Street in Eads for a report of a disturbance in progress. Upon further investigation, John G. Davisson, 59, of Eads was arrested for driving a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, driving a vehicle with excessive alcohol content in breath, disorderly conduct, second degree criminal trespassing and third degree assault. Davisson was transported to Prowers County Jail, where he was being held on a $3,000 bond in to Kiowa County Court. Davisson has a bond return date of July 2, 2003.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to ask the community for assistance with the alcohol containers being discarded throughout the towns and county. If you have any information this type of littering, please contact the Sheriff’s Office, as the office will be issuing littering tickets for these violations.
