Weisbrod Auxiliary Notes
June 6, 2003
The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at Weisbrod Hospital.
The following were present: Barb Diel, President; Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer; Jo Forrester, Joyce Berry, Dora Pearcey, Margaret Frazee, Sis Howard, and guests Rhonda Krueger, Pam Batterton, Anna Randel and Jim Murphy, Administrator.
Meeting was called to order by Barb. April’s minutes were read and corrected. (In April’s minutes the minutes read we were to meet at Our Place and instead we met at the hospital. Every third month will be at the hospital). In the Treasurer’s report we have $102.03 in the checking account and $1,755.56 in the savings account.
Under Old Business: Pam mentioned that the marker boards purchased for the residents for Mother’s Day were working out wonderfully. Dora made a motion and seconded by Margaret to pay Cindy McLoud for the gift packs from Mary Kay. Motion carried. Cindy also did facials. The sweat shirts were purchased for the residents for their rides with Bob Howerton. The flowers and soil were purchased for the patio. Also 12 hymnals were purchased on behalf of Memorial money received for Pearl Hainer.
Under New Business: The marker boards will also be used for the Father’s day gifts.
Jim Murphy thanked everyone for all the things the auxiliary does.
We have received donations in memory of Frankie Osborn and Kelly Lindholm.
Dora made a motion and seconded by Jo to adjourn the meeting. Next meeting will be June 17 at Our Place Restaurant.
