Master Farm Homemaker Guild Seeks NomineesJune 6, 2003 The Master Farm homemaker Guild is seeking nominations for the 2003 award program to honor rural homemakers. Any homemaker is eligible who is actively involved in agriculture (or is retired from an active life in agriculture) and has derived 51% of the family income from a ranching or farming operation. The Colorado Master Farm Homemaker’s Guild seeks nominations of rural women who have given unselfish service to her family and her community. She must be nominated by an organization. There will be one winner from each of the nine districts in Colorado. We sincerely hope there will be nominations from every area of the state.

The Colorado Master Farm homemaker Guild was established in 1954. The award program is sponsored by Colorado State University, Colorado Farm Bureau, Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, Colorado State Grange and Colorado Cattle Women, Inc. along with the Colorado Master Farm Homemaker’s Guild. Nomination entries can be obtained from your Colorado University Cooperative Extension office in your county or area and must be returned to the Master Farm Homemaker Guild by July 15. Details on the program and for nominating a rural homemaker will be found on the entry form.
