Eads Kids' College Is a Go

Eads Kids' College (EKC) classes will be held in the mornings the week of Monday, June 9, through Thursday, June 12; and also in the mornings the week of Monday, June 16, through Thursday, June 19.

The first day of classes all students are asked to report to the main south doors of the Eads Elementary School.

A special presentation on raptors will be held the last day of EKC on Thursday, June 19, in the high school's multi-purpose room. The Pueblo Raptor Rehabilitation Center will be bringing living raptors, which are birds of prey. The first session is from 8 a.m. till 9:50 a.m. with the second session being held from 10 a.m. till noon. A fee will be charged.

 

The last day of EKC on Thursday, June 19, a picnic will be held at the Kiowa County Courthouse from 5:30 till 7 p.m. for all students and their families; the picnic is free of charge. During the same date and time as the picnic in the basement meeting room of the Courthouse, a showcase will be held where the public may view the projects and creations made by the EKC students.
