Conservation Workshop to Be Held June 9June 6, 2003 A Private Lands Habitat Conservation workshop will be hosted June 9 by the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory and Colorado Division of Wildlife. The workshop will discuss economic diversification possibilities, agriculture and habitat conservation, visit sites where efforts are being made for habitat and brainstorm about opportunities on your land and learn about different habitat based programs and funding sources. You will also be able to network with different agencies such as the Colorado Division of Wildlife, Partners for Wildlife, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory.

Breakfast will be served at 7:30, lunch will be provided, and the day will end at 2 p.m. There will be activities for children also. The location of the workshop is Horse Creek Farm, Pat Esch: Take Hwy. 287 south to Hwy. 116. Turn East towards Two Buttes. Travel for about 7 or 8 miles to mile marker 5. There will be a gate that will be unlocked and we will have a sign up. Go through the gate and head South on Trail about 2 miles to the creek bottom.
