Colorado Wheat Field Days in Kiowa County

The Colorado Wheat Field Days 2003 Tour will be in Kiowa County June 10 at the Eugene Splitter Farm six miles south of Sheridan Lake on Highway 385. The program will begin at 9:00 A.M. with topics to include Wheat Breeding and Varieties, Crop Testing and Reports, Weeds and Herbicides, Entomology, Diseases, Seed Certification, and others.
After the visit in Sheridan Lake the tour will proceed to the Tom Heinz Farm 7.5 miles south of Cheyenne Wells, also on Highway 385, with a 1:00 P.M. start time. The field tours are hosted by the Colorado Wheat Administrative Committee (CWAC), Colorado
Association of Wheat Growers (CAWG), Colorado Wheat Research Foundation (CWRF), and Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Service and Agricultural Experiment Station.
