Death Notice - Verline Gay Linville, 44

Funeral services for Verline Gay (Mast) Linville, 44, of Plainview, Texas was held at the Garland Street Church of Christ with Russell Harris, minister and J. W. Hamby officiating. Burial followed in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mrs. Linville died Wednesday, May 7, 2003 in Covenant Hospital Lakeside in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born September 24, 1958 in Heidelberg, Germany and graduated from West Texas State University School of Nursing in 1984, then worked at Northwest Texas hospital in Amarillo, Baylor Medical Center and in private oncology for Dr. Denham in Dallas, Texas. She was employed by prairie House Living Center.

Verline moved to Plainview, Texas in 1999 from Carrollton. She married Larry Linville June 1, 2002 in Plainview. She was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Verline was preceded in death by her father, William Mast.

Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Alisha Harris of Carrollton and Krista Harris of Plainview; a son Dio Harris of Carrolton; a sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Danny Sullivan of Spring Hill, Florida; her mother, Vada Mast of Plainview, Texas; her grandparents, Burness Gibbs of Kit Carson and Katherine Mast of Brush, Colorado and a grandson, Damian Harris of Carrollton.
