Farmers Market Being Organized

Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation, in cooperation with the Eads Chamber of Commerce, is once again organizing a summertime market place. Plans are to hold the farmer/gardener market each Saturday morning from July to October at the city park in downtown Eads.

This is an excellent opportunity for green-thumb gardeners to sell/barter extra produce. (Maybe you’ll want to plant a little more this year? More variety?) Space will not be limited to produce. Let your imagination be your guide: homemade ice cream, cold drinks, crafts, breads, etc. No charge for space. Call (719) 438-2200 for more information.
