East End EventsMay 16, 2003 Misty, Chris, and Kami Stum would like to thank EVERYONE who helped in any way with the auction dinner Saturday. The ladies that donated pies are specially thanked; they were good pies! Game night will be Saturday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the Towner Hall. All are welcome. Jenny Lening received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion May 3, from Colorado State University in Pueblo. Jenny is doing her internship this summer through Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. Those attending the ceremony were Zelpha Woelk; Garold Deines; Marty and Gwyn Snyder; Joel and Tennille Woelk; Brad, Lisa, Tyler, and Shaelynn Compton; Steve Lening; Mike and Deb Lening; Craig and Suzanne Williams; and Pinky and Mary Lou Williams. Nathan, Tricia, Kahla, Natalie, and Sammie Anderson joined the group at Red Lobster for lunch following the ceremony. Many ladies enjoyed the Mother and Daughter Tea in Sheridan Lake last weekend. Bernice Tuttle and Judy Tuttle hosted Peg and Lana Weber; Verna Hallock; Sue Miller of Lamar; Lindsey Jensen of Holly; and Lorene Uptergrove. Amy and Mikayla Schmidt also had a lovely time at the tea. The game, meal, and dinner were enjoyed by all. Ronnie and Phyllis Barnes of Overland Park, Kansas, are visiting Floyd and Wynona Barnes for a few days this week.

Larry and B.J. Poore of Woodston, Kansas, helped Jen Poore move into her new home in Tribune on Saturday. They all visited Cheri and Evan Hopkins. Christy Hopkins is also home for a few days. Bernice Tuttle attended Austin Jensen's second birthday Saturday at Holly. Several family members were in attendance and enjoyed pizza, homemade ice cream, and cake. Rhonda and Emily Koehn of Breckenridge were visiting Larry and Judy Tuttle and Clovis and Lorene Uptergrove, as well as Chuck and Nadella Koehn of Tribune all week. On Sunday, the clan enjoyed a Mother's Day dinner with Chuck and Nadella. Jay, Tara, and Savannah Stum; Monte, Linda, Kami, and Kirbi Stum; Lane, Tammy, Misty, and Chris Stum, all of Towner; and Brian and Deana Long and Deana's parents all of Lamar, were guests of Linly and Sherell Stum on Sunday for a Mother's Day dinner.
