Weisbrod Auxiliary Meets
April 25, 2003
The Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital and Nursing Home Auxiliary met Tuesday, April 15 at Our Place. There was no meeting in March due to a funeral.
The following were present: Barb Diel, President; Annie Cole, Vice President; Kim Richards, Secretary/Treasurer; Alice Weil, Margaret Frazee, Dora Pearcey, Joyce Berry, Sis Howard, Lola Igou, Jo Forrester, and guests Rhonda Krueger, Pam Batterton, Margaret Mays and Della Price.
The meeting was called to order by Barb. February’s minutes were read and approved and the treasurer’s report was read as follows: $159.15 in the checking account and $2,255.56 in the savings.
Under Old Business: Alice made a motion and seconded by Lola to purchase 12 "Sing to the Lord" hymnals from Lillenas with the embossing on each hymnal t read: "In memory of Pearl Hainer." Motion carried.
Under New Business: Joyce made the motion and seconded by Lola to purchase flowers, oil and etc. for the patio. Motion carried. Rhonda will see that these things are purchased.
It was discussed to purchase dry eraser boards for each resident in the nursing home for their room. Lola and Jo will check on prices.
Rhonda said it would be really nice to have some hooded sweat shirts for the residents for when they go out for their ride with Bob Howerton. Dora and Jo will check prices and we will discuss at the next meeting.
We have received donations for the Barbara Aldrich memorial.
Annie made a motion and seconded by Joyce to adjourn the meeting. Next meeting will be May 20 at Our Place Restaurant.
