Death Notice - Wilma (Messick) Studebaker, 89

Wilma (Messick) Studebaker was born to George and Hazel Messick on March 22, 1913 in the Ruth Creek area. Wilma graduated from Eads High School with the class of 1930 and soon moved to Zion, Illinois where she married and was blessed with four sons. She resided in Zion until the time of her death.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel Messick, two sons, Lelon and Loren Leech and two brothers, Floyd and George Messick. She is survived by two sons, Dale Leech of Zion, Illinois and Dennis Leech (Joyce) of Glendale, Arizona; one sister, Alma Stocker of Murrieta, California, two sisters-in-law, Lucy Messick of Winterhaven, Florida and Eleanor Messick of Vancouver, Washington; two daughters-in-law, Sandra Leech of Zion, Illinois and Linda Leech of Reeds Spring, Missouri; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and a host of friends in the Eads and Zion areas.

She will be missed but she lived a beautiful life, always willing to give of herself to help others. She would have been 90 years old on March 22, but the Lord called her home on March 11. Internment was March 17 at Zion, Illinois.
