The Livewires performed their one-act play for the judges and the audience. The performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance. Those Livewires who strutted their stuff included Megan Fickenscher, Kami Stum, Kirbi Stum, Miranda Weber, Lauren Weber, Lana Weber, Natalya Weber, Katie Sanders, Tyler Harris, Megan Linder, and Vincent Koeller. The Livewires won a blue ribbon and the opportunity to compete at the regional Fun Festival in La Junta at Otero Junior College on March 22 at 12 noon. Katie Sanders also played an instrumental solo on the piano. She charmed the judges with "Animal Crackers in My Soup." She also received a blue ribbon and advances to the regional Fun Festival. The Livewires would like to thank everyone that attended the Kiowa County Fun Festival and invites anyone interested to come see them perform in La Junta.
