Cowboy Ball to Benefit Hospice

Bent-Prowers Cattle & Horse Growers Association will be holding its 134th Annual Meeting on Saturday, March 29 in Rocky Ford at the Gobin Building. In conjunction with the evening banquet will be their Cowboy Ball to benefit the area Hospice organizations.

Registration for the meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the meeting will kick off at 1 p.m. with featured speaker, Kenny winter, President of Kansas Cattlemen’s Association. Cattlemen will also hear from representatives from Colorado Beef Council, Colorado Brand Board, State Land Board, the Department of Wildlife, and Colorado Cattlemen’s Association.

 

The famous Cowboy Punch Bowl is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. and the banquet meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the evening’s festivities includes a prime rib dinner and dancing to the music of Country Gold. Bent-Prowers board members have planned for a very informative meeting and special evening for everyone.
